Upon returning to Northern Virginia from living in Southeast Asia for 11 years with my Foreign Service husband, I incorporated The Art of Organization LLC. I created my business by drawing upon the skills I have sharpened from: (1) my previous career as a legal assistant/recruiter and marketing/public relations executive; (2) our numerous international moves; and (3) having to think outside-the-box for creating, organizing and decorating a home in third-world countries. My eight international moves over nine years, not only honed my organizational skills, but have given me a keen understanding of what is -- and what is not-- essential to run a household or office. This knowledge is critical when moving, downsizing, removing clutter, or simply regaining control. I meet with my clients, assess their needs, and then quickly get things back on track. I work with clients to create and implement a system they can work with to help them maintain the order I have introduced. This added effort increases the odds that the solutions I have implemented will be carried out after I have finished. I also provide life management services to help my clients who just do not have enough time to do it all themselves, as well as assist with home relocation & property assistance needs. As an active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), I remain current on the “best practices” of my profession and have access to a broad network of organizers nationwide. Through memberships such as “Angie’s List” I have a wide range of resources from which to draw. With your best interests in mind, I will strive to earn your trust through honesty, hard work, and by adhering to NAPO’s strict Code of Ethics.
